The Future of Jewish heritage convened in Odessa
18.04.2013, Community Life More than forty Jewish heritage teachers from Ukraine and leading school directors from across the FSU, came together last week in Odessa to discuss new tactics and opportunities for the implementation of Jewish studies in the FJC’s ‘Or Avner’ school network.
The three day convention was addressed by professional educators and counselors, members of the ‘Darkeinu’ new Jewish heritage learning program’s staff. The highly successful convention is planned to continue taking place annually in one of the central cities of Ukraine.
In addition, a similar convention will be taking place shortly in Moscow, serving the teachers and leading school directors of the FJC’s ‘Or Avner’ school network in Russia, Belarus and additional countries.
