Kosher Take-Out Opens in Moscow
21.04.2010, Community Life Russia's first kosher “take-out” restaurant and store has opened in the Shaarei Tsedek Charity Center in Moscow. The store features a variety of ready-made and convenience foods. The store is conveniently located in the heart of the Jewish community, near the Moscow Jewish Community Center and numerous other Jewish institutions.
Shoppers have been delighted by the wide selection as well as the quality of the food. In addition to the take-out and other ready-made food items, there are also candies, snacks and a variety of pre-packaged items. Of course, one can find all of the standard kosher products one would expect to find in a kosher shop, as well.
All of the ready-made food is cooked and baked on the premises, assuring that the food is as fresh as possible. The recipes for the dishes were created by Pinchas Slobodnik, chef of the Moscow Jewish Community Center Everything in the store conforms to the highest kashrut standards.
